प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 24 अप्रैल शुक्रवार को राष्ट्रीय पंचायती राज दिवस 2020 के अवसर पर ग्राम पंचायतों के सभी ग्राम प्रधानों को संबोधित किया। उन्होंने ई-ग्राम स्वराज नामक एक पोर्टल और वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए एक मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन का उद्घाटन किया। मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन से सभी ग्राम पंचायतों के कामकाज और निष्पादन में आसानी होगी।
